About
The role of natural gas in the energy transition to a low-carbon future will be influenced by the extent to which the oil and gas industry reduces its emissions of methane, a potent greenhouse gas. The Methane Guiding Principles – developed collaboratively by a coalition of industry and civil society organisations – focus on reducing methane emissions across the natural gas supply chain, from production to final consumer.
