What We Do

Methane Guiding Principles is a partnership of 50 international organizations that are committed to reducing methane emissions from the natural gas supply chain. We enable action in industry and government to reduce methane emissions globally.

Our members build on the foundation of the five Methane Guiding Principles. They work together to develop and share practical tools and guidance to help others to learn from their experience and put those lessons into practice.
